WIC is Welcome at the Farmers Market
WIC mothers, you’re invited to use your benefits at the farmers market! Bring your children to the market, they’ll love it. Plus, you’re supporting local farmers, and enjoying fresh – and affordable – Catskills food. You can use both your WIC Fruit & Vegetable Checks as well as your WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks. FMNP checks (also called vouchers) are a booklet of five $4 checks, giving you $20 to spend at the markets. Checks will be distributed in June 2018 and are valid through November 2018. Plus, 3 farmers markets in Sullivan County also accept SNAP/EBT benefits. You’ll receive $4 for every $10 you spend, get more details – here!
